Assisting Young Film Student
In 2004/5 the Arhoolie Foundation, through a generous contribution from Ed Littlefield Jr. and Julia Derby and the Sage Foundation, was able to assist Wilson Savoy in honing his skills as director, cinematographer and editor for several short DVD projects.

These films include: "Hard Pressed but Never Crushed" (about the life and struggles of Louisiana musician Horace Trahan), and "Tee Mamou" (subtitled: Courrir de Mardi Gras), which are both available on one DVD along with several other short films.
